Frequently asked
DiskBar does not show one of my drives
DiskBar lists volumes that macOS reports as mounted. If an external or network drive is missing, make sure it is mounted and visible in Finder, then reopen the DiskBar menu.
The largest-files scan skips some folders
macOS protects certain system and other-user locations. DiskBar only scans what your account is permitted to read, so a small amount of space may sit outside the results. If you granted Full Disk Access, quit and relaunch DiskBar so the new permission takes effect: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access.
I moved a file to the Trash by mistake
Files DiskBar removes go to the Finder Trash, not permanent deletion. Open the Trash and choose Put Back to restore an item, as long as you have not emptied it.
How do I remove DiskBar?
Quit DiskBar from the menu bar, then drag the app from your Applications folder to the Trash. DiskBar stores no data outside its sandbox.
